The next edition of Scientifica will take place at various locations at the end of August 2026:

Exhibition
In the interactive exhibition, researchers present their current projects with exhibits you can touch and try out yourself, tricky quizzes and virtual experiences.
Workshops and Guided Tours
Get hands-on yourself in a workshop or take part in a guided tour and discover places not usually open to the public: Labs, collections, a test site, etc.
Short Lectures
Take a closer look at a topic at a short lecture. Here, scientists will give you an understanding of their research in generally comprehensible explanations. After the lecture you will have the opportunity to ask your questions.
Science Cafés and Panel discussions
Discussion formats are not only about research, but often about societal issues from a scientific perspective.
For Families
Families will find offers such as shows or workshops geared towards school-age children, which they can attend with or without accompanying parents.
For Teenagers
Selected events and workshops are aimed exclusively at young people aged 13-18. In recent years topics included climate change and biodiversity, dealing with stress, artificial intelligence and cancer research.
